Be glad and thank God, one of my relative, Kak Lusi, has gave birth to her first son, named Dudey Hattus Siregar last Thursday. FYI, Dudey means Dua Delapan May-as his date of birth. So, I went to RSB Asih, Panglima Polim, to greet her, with Arlene this morning. First, i have to threaten him before i went there, so he won't disturb me and i could have a great family time there. We arrived at about 9.30 a.m. Fortunately, just both of Kak Lusi and Bang Marko there. We also had their first photo session-kinda want it someday hehe. I like RSB Asih, it was so comfortable, no wonder may artists went there to giving birth of their children. Have a long chit chat there, then had lunch with Bang Marko's parents while waiting for Opung Saragih-Purba (Kak Lusi's parents) plus the most annoying man, Bang Ferdy to come.
Nayy, Bang Ferdy joined our lunch, and ohh, they teased me there! Poor me, huh? Even Arlene laughed at me. Could you mind to make it better, bang? All they asked was you. Huff. Well, anyway, before i and Arlene went home, we had a little celebration for Opung. Today is her 61th birthday. Happy birthday, Pung. God bless you always. Mom was so thrilled when i told her the whole story after i got home. I had a great day and think that i have great week overall. Wow, thank you so much, God. Now, i have to study. I'll face my final exams next week. Then, facing holiday afterward. That'll be so lovely for me :)

today was great
Today was really a great day. I woke up with a happy feeling, well, i have a very important task to do today, and my feeling just went right, it really did. My brother also greet-ed me just wanna say that he won IDR400000 for Barca's winnings on Champion League this morning. Great bro, he even changed his status on facebook for every several minutes just wanna proclaimed he got that "uang haram". Well, Sin, if you really thought that it was "uang haram" you won't be that happy, but, i really wanted him to share some, unfortunately, he's gonna exchange it to be a gift for his next-to-be-girlfriend. Huhuhu, poor me ya? =p
I also did football pools like my brother. I did it with him and went with MU. Unlucky me, he won! Still unlucky me, my CR7 played so bad on that match, as they told me, cause i didn't watch it. So, i have to do what he want me to. Mmm, it was an easy thing to do actually, but not for me. It was quite difficult indeed. I won't reveal here, but, i'll do that these days, cause i've promised him. He was so happy to find me embarrassed and looked so goffy while i have to do his wish, especially on taxi to have lunch and watch Night At The Museum 2. Huhuhu, poor me ya? =p
Then, i made a great movement on my renew passport task. I have paid that, took picture of myself, and did a really short interview. A Batakness guy who interviewed me helped me a lot, it made me wonder that sometimes i have to thank my surename. Many Batakness people around me, i couldn't notice them all, but, in this thing, i really felt that no matter what, Batakness people will always try to help his "brothers and sisters". I remembered his name was Ronny, well thanks bang Ronny. Now, i just have to take my passport on June 8, isn't it a really good news?? I am so happy, so does many people surround me :)
After finished all passport stuff, me and Stallone moved to Museum Bank Indonesia (MBI). It's free, guys, so why don't you come and enjoy it. We had fun there, he took my pictures there before i can sort it, cause i plan to send one to someone. I had resized it before start posting this post. Mm, i just wanna have fun with it, i'll tell you later where and why i sent it. Two most exciting areas there was old money collections and grab coins to find its details-try yourself, i am not sure about the name hehe. We took just half hour there before went to Mall Taman Anggrek to have Pizza Hut as our lunch, had also some window shopping ( i have crush on VnC shoes hihihi) and the last but not least, watched Night at The Museum 2 with Desipus and Arlene. I loved that movie, it was so funny and educated one. I even know that Napoleon Bonaparte has a short body hahaha. We separated with Stallone, then went to CitraLand to had dinner (thanks God it was Hoka-Hoka Bento) and shared today's stories, goods and bads.

missing chewy
big babooooolllllI woke up today with a happy feeling cause i have no Bapres class today, so i just have to attend POD class on 1 p.m. What a free and happy day. And still, lucky me, i have no POD class, but have arrived safely in campus, then i go up to library to met Inggrid and Lin. While met them, i chewed my strawberry big babol. It's been 3 years for me not chew any chewing gum. I missed it a lot. It made me recall my younger days when i was in High School, chewed and chewed this gum almost everyday, especially on church.

little correction for my beloved daddy
My day was full. I have 2 classes and also have to print our (me and Ing) final assignment for PIO II first. Thanks God, it finished now. But i felt something missing for today, i got no call from him. Hmm, i have no idea, whats going on us, one thing for sure, he made me built one new perspective on him. I won't judge, cause i won't be judged too, but if you felt judged by me, i am sorry, i really didn't mean it.
At least, i am glad today. Post has come from Manado, contain of my special letter to accomplish my passport requirement. But, something interested me, my daddy's writing. Read it carefully guys, i've made a red circle on it. My daddy wrote there TOMANANG! For almost 2 years, he didn't know exactly where his only daughter live? I felt sad yet funny at the same time, seriously, my daddy was funny in his way, and i loved it.

So, i texted him and mom, to tell that i've recieved the post, plus told them, that i lived in TOMANG. Guess what, my mom also sent me food last morning -as i requested her at Saturday- and also wrote Tomang in my address! hahaha. Mah, Pah, kok bisa salah gitu sih?
Well, now they knew that i lived in Tomang. It won't be unsent actually, because they wrote the correct street and number, even the postcode. Thanks anyway mamah and papah for sent me that post, i'm gonna prove a very good news for us in Thursday, i promised you. Love you much!

finally after (almost) 2 years
This morning i went to campus to transfer money for my Cotton Ink, looking forward to hold it as soon as possible actually *blink blink* After that, me and Desi went to Siloam Hospital Kebon Jeruk to visit my aunt, who'd hospitalized since yesterday and also take my uncle's Kartu Keluarga-i belong to his family in Jakarta, which is one of the requirement needed to renew my passport.
Finally got it, we moved to Citraland to have lunch in Chowking because Desi was craving for their drink, i am not sure it is Naicha, Nacha, something like that, i liked it also. Then, i called my mom, asked her newest info and my friends'. Finished it, we decided to go to ITC Mangga Dua to add my laptop memory to be 2 GB. After that, we have shopping spree until 5.30p.m. I got cute stuff, i can't tell about it here, it was a bit embarassed me *blushing*. Then we went home by Express Taxi and we loved the driver. We really did. He played old songs on our way home, was so warm and educated man. He also challenged us to guess the singer, and if we could, he'll pay our argo. But, we failed on our 3 chances. We just answered the song writer, it was Pance Pondaag, but we couldn't answered Trio Ambisi as the singers . Poor us, have to pay IDR 45.000 as an argo hehehe.
One special moment today when Desi took my pictures on UNTAR. It was my first time to take pictures on the prasasti in front of my campus. This morning campus was quiet enough for me to be narciss-ed. Look my pictures below.

Closed Case : Mozilla Firefox
Haha, i don't know how to explain what i'm gonna say with this post, but, one thing for sure, i had problem with MF, but had solved it well with Cliff. I couldn't browse for 2 days, and it was troubled me a lot, especially when i have to prepare myself with POD presentation. I even couldn't open my daily site, like facebook, send an email by yahoo, and see my blog background. The only site for my days was Twitter-I love it so much afterward, serious! hahaha.
But, thanks Cliff, who helped this afternoon. Now, i can browse again, still with Mozilla Firefox, because i still dislike using Internet Explorer, dislike the full toolbar. I am so happy now. Cliff also gave me 3 seasons of Friends too, so i can watch it in further time. Hip Hip Hooray :D Thanks for today, Cliff and Inggrid.

- he gave his photo with his daddy and ask me to compare their "asset" hehehe
- i have a great presentation today with my group, but felt so sorry for her- no need to blame anyone, i am the one who can't restrain myself not to laughed at her, sorry ya..

angels and demons
I watched The DaVinci Code-Angels and Demons with Stallone today. We had planned it before, so lucky us, to have nice seats, and perfect time to watch that movie. One of our beloved friend, Marlon was the one, who always insisted us, not to watch that movie. But, I wathced the old one, The DaVinci Code, also starring Tom Hanks, and i think this one is greater.
I can't explain about the whole stories, all i know, and i believed that Our GOD, was-is-always be the Holy One, and DaVinci Code is just a movie, mixed spiritual and science. So, just try yourself to enjoy it, without think that hard to understand. We need both spiritual and science in life. If you can, take both, but don't mixed it. And Angels and Demons will be a good movie to watch, but once again, enjoy the movie, no need to complain it.

Doraemon tamat! whuah..
Saya tumbuh dengan Doraemon, ada 1 orang bilang kalau Doraemon itu seumur saya, secara saya lahir setelah RCTI (RCTI bulan Agustus, sedangkan saya lahir bulan Desember). Jadi, saya adalah generasi Doraemon hahahaha, sekaligus juga generasi Power Rangers (saya suka banget sama Power Rangers, beneran deh, 1 rumah kita nge-fans sama Power Rangers, sampai mamapapa saya juga! Ayayaiii hahaha).
Jadi, ketika Inggrid bilang Doraemon tamat, saya kaget! Kaget karena ga nyangka bisa juga abis. Berhubung saya juga dah lama banget ga nonton Doraemon (gereja saya masuk pukul 07.30 soalnya) jadi saya penasaran dengan akhir cerita Doraemon. Nah, abis googling, ini hasilnya dari akhir cerita Doraemon. Moga2 bisa menjawab keingintahuan banyak pihak (terutama saya).

Happy Bday, Babe :)
me and Babe in Jesus Bless statueToday is my daddy's birthday. Sometimes i called him "Babe" means father in Betawi language. My youngest brother, Darling, sometimes called him "Babe" too. My mom called him "Babe" when she got a bit upset with daddy, so, name "Babe" was familiar in my home. I called him in the morning to say Happy Birthday while he was on his way to office. I talk something liked semoga sehat selalu, etc, like any usual birthday wish. But, i was happy, when he asked me first about my life here. Uhh, i loved that moment. I knew that every parents in this world' happiness are from their children. SO, i believed i do not need to buy him any gifts to prove that i care on him or to make him happy, but, by what i have done to make him proud of me. I keep promising myself, to be his #1 daughter (yeah, in literary i am the only daughter he got from God, but i'll be the best daughter as i can be). Thanks God, for added one year in my beloved daddy's life. Love you, Babe :)

betty boop on my handphone
Welcoming my new handphone chain, a-glamour-white-long-dress Betty Boop hahaha. I am not sure about the name, but, as i can describe, the sexy Betty Boop chain is using a glamour white long dress, so i named her after it. I have mem-PHK my old eeyore chain. I still love it, but, i prefer to keep it, before it'll more broken in my hand, please don't ask me why hehehe.

Kak Erna's wedding
I made the previous post after went to Kak Erna' wedding yesterday. Here's some pictures was taken there. FYI, i went to that wedding since 7am up to 10.30pm! Can you imagine how tired i am??

Oya, in the party yesterday, i saw one nanny, who has gesture and tor-tor like Inang. I miss her. But i think, they all in heaven was with us yesterday, watching their offspring shared happiness and love there. God bless us all :)
pernikahan (ribet) a la Batak
Hahaha, saya akan dihujani amarah dari siapa aja ya dengan adanya tulisan ini? Tapi tak apalah, setidaknya teman2 saya non-Batak bisa tahu tentang adat orang Batak khususnya tentang pernikahan yang (bukan konon lagi) sangat ribet itu.
Dalam hampir 2 tahun perkuliahan saya, udah 3 pernikahan orang Batak yang saya datangi. Pertama Bang Saut dengan Kak Siska di Medan pada Desember 2007, sekarang mereka lagi menanti bayi yang mungkin lahir bulan Agustus depan. Trus ada Kak Lusi dan Bang Marko, nikahnya di Manado, dengan persiapan beda2 kota pada Agustus 2008, bayinya mau lahir bulan ini deh kayaknya. Nah, terakhir itu kemarin, Kak Erna dan Bang Kadi yang akhirnya membuat saya mengenal banyak banget keluarga dan jadi mikir tentang pernikahan saya kelak.
Kenapa saya jadi mikir? Karena pernikahan itu ribet banget! Apalagi pernikahan adat Batak. Nah, dari ketiga pernikahan di atas, pernikahan Kak Erna yang saya ikuti benar-benar. Kalau Bang Saut, saya datang di hari H, Kak Lusi juga begitu, apalagi pernikahan Kak Lusi di Manado, jadi acara adatnya tidak memonopoli resepsi. Posisi duduk tamu juga tidak berdasarkan garis marga, Kak Lusi juga ga pake kebaya ketika pemberkatan, jadi lebih simple meskipun tetap saja lama. Kalau Bang Saut, nikahnya di Medan. Oh tidak, orang-orang Batak yang di Medan tuh kayaknya punya ulos banyak banget, acara itu benar-benar Batak banget. Belum lagi pake gondang, ada lagi penari penerima tamu adat, makanan adat yang disajikan per-meja. Ini benar-benar menguras uang, waktu dan tenaga. Namun, inilah adat Batak.
Nah, kalau kalian mau nikah dengan orang Batak, ini nih langkah2nya (siap2 terkejut ya hehe)
1. Pacaran.
Yaialah pacaran dulu, mau orang apapun calon pendamping hidup kita kelak, maunya kita pacaran dulu sama dia, merasa nyaman dulu sama dia, menyamakan visi misi ke depan dulu, sehingga kita bisa yakin bahwa dia yang terbaik untuk kita.
2. Kenalin ke orangtua.
Ini juga tahapan dasar sebelum menikah. Yakinkan orangtua bahwa dia yang akan menikah denganmu. Tentu saja ini seharusnya sudah masuk dari tahapan pacaran di atas. Namun, setelah pacarannya udah mantap, datang kepada calon mertua, mintalah doa restu. Jangan dibayangkan orangtua calon langsung yang datang. Ini tidak masuk di daftar kegiatan pada poin kedua ini, orangtua mau datang ya silahkan saja.
3. Pembicaraan adat awal.
Memang dinamakan pembicaraan adat awal, namun tidak semua pernikahan orang Batak akan langsung diikuti adat. Ini bisa menyangkut kesiapan materi ataupun orangtua (kalau ada orangtua kita yang belum diadatin, kita juga belum bisa). Atau bisa juga karena saudaranya pada jauh, atau malah nikah lari. Itu lebih tidak pakai adat. Nah, disini masing-masing pihak memilih parhata-nya (semacam moderator, baik dari pihak wanita atau pria). Disini mulai dibicarakan tentang mas kawin. Biasanya pesta diadakan di pihak wanita, maka mas kawin disini adalah biaya pesta. Ditentukan oleh panitianya. Mungkin kadang kedua panitia melakukan perdebatan tentang jumlah mas kawin. Oleh karena itu, pembicaraan ini harus lebih dipikirkan matang-matang. Mungkin harga dollar juga pengaruh pada poin ketiga ini. Karena mungkin harga gedung dan katering ikutan naik jika dollar juga naik.
4. Marhusip.
Nah, saya kurang jelas dengan poin ini. Tapi setahu saya, ini adalah pihak pria datang kepada wanita dan selanjutnya paling membicarakan hal-hal teknis, seperti banyak undangan, penulisan nama pengundang, dll. Pembicaraan pada poin ini makin bersifat internal dan teknis. Bicara soal undangan, undangan pernikaha orang Batak itu dicetak dengan 2 tipe, keluarga pria dan wanita. Peletakan nama pengantin merupakan pembeda utama undangan ini. Di dalam undangan, turut disertakan nama2 pengundang, percayalah bahwa paling minimal ada 50 pengundang dalam undangan itu. Dan masing-masing mereka mesti dapat undangan, makanya bisa jadi ketika pembagian undangan masih banyak yang kurang karena masih banyak "saudara" yang tidak kebagian jatah undangan. Ini jelas berbeda dengan undangan nasional.
5. Martuppol.
Kalau yang ini tunangan, mengikat janji di gereja. Setelah martuppol, pernikahan tidak boleh lagi dibatalkan oleh karena alasan orang lain, contohnya ada mantan pacar kita yang protes akan rencana pernikahan kita. Tapi selepas martuppol sudah tidak boleh ada lagi pembatalan pernikahan. Nah, setelah acara martuppol ini (biasanya 1 minggu hingga 1 bulan sebelum pesta pernikahan), masing-masing pihak mengadakan acara sendiri di tempat masing-masing. Dikenal istilah martonggo raja - acara di pihak pria dan ma ria raja - acara di pihak wanita, kalau tidak salah sih penulisannya dan penempatannya tepat. Disini dibagikan undangan untuk masing-masing pihak. Plus membahas tentang hari H, memantapkan pembagian tugas, sehingga tahu menyusun jadwal kedatangan masing-masing. Terutama pesta di Jakarta yang waktunya kadang tidak bisa diperhitungkan.
6. Pernikahan.
a). Menjemput pengantin wanita ke rumahnya. Wah, saya lupa namanya. Namun, yang dilakukan adalah saling tukar bunga antar pengantin. Trus ada makan2nya deh, pengantin makan di lokasi terpisah dari tamu.
b). Pemberkatan di gereja atau pamasu-masuon. Ibadah pemberkatan mengikuti susunan ibadah gereja tempat diberkati ini. Iring-iringan pengantin juga bersama keluarga memulai prosesi ini. Dilanjutkan dengan catatan sipil, bisa sebelum atau sesudah pernikahan.
c). Acara adat! Ini masalahnya. Marga yang turut memberikan doa kepada pengantin itu sangat banyak. Marga dari keturunan pria begitu pula dengan wanita. Namun inilah yang dibanggakan orang Batak, bahwa semua kita saling menghargai dan menghormati adat itu. Ulos-ulos pada sekali pesta pun bisa beberapa karung. Belum jika saudaranya banyak banget yang datang, bisa belasan karung. Namun, semuanya jatuh ke tangan keluarga pria dan bisa dimanfaatkan dengan dijual jika tidak merasa itu cukup berguna untuk dibawa pengantin dalam memulai hidupnya.
Posisi duduk pada acara adat ini ada 4 bagian. Berhubung posisi duduk pengantin pria disebelah kanan pengantin wanita, maka keluarga pria duduk di sebelah kiri, begitu pula dengan pengantin wanita. Nah, penyajian menunya udah diletakkan di atas meja. Tidak ada makanan yang ditempatkan diluar meja, kecuali ada tamu2 nasional.
d). Pelepasan boru. Boru itu anak perempuan, jadi yang akan dilakukan pada poin ini adalah bapak dan ibu pengantin wanita memberi ucapan-ucapan atau nasehat "terakhir" sebelum anaknya meninggalkan mereka dengan menikah dengan calonnya. Lagu yang dipake sebagai pengiring lagu ini adalah Borhat Ma Da Inang, dan hampir selalu dipastikan saya akan berkaca2 dengan lagu ini. Membayangkan hal-hal ini seperti ini membuat saya sangat teramat yakin dan nyaman dengan segala hal itu, semoga memang akan selalu indah. Ini merupakan puncak acara adat menurut saya. Karena pada bagian ini, wanita benar-benar seutuhnya "diberikan" kelaurganya untuk sang suami. Nah, suami-suami, harap menghargai bagian sensitif ini ya :)

not just another Thursday
Renew Passport.
Well, the main schedule of today was renew my passport. I have to be finished before i go back to Manado next month, so if i have to accompany someone abroad (i wish it could be on July), i'll be ready hehe. But, i couldn't help that they refuse to make mine, because my old passport is in Manado. So, i have to bring the old one, show them (they'll keep it like daddy said or just check it), then i can make the new one. Huff, poor me and Syl-who'd accompany me this whole day, thank you so much, Syl, it really means a lot! But, we changed our schedule, i insisted Syl to visit some museum near to the Immigration Office, then here we go! =p

1. First, we went to Museum Seni Rupa dan Keramik. It's next to the Immigration Office. You just have to pay Rp2000 to enter the whole museum. I didn't really like this museum, a lot of paintings made me boring, so, we moved to the second museum.

2. Museum Sejarah Jakarta. It's antique one and a bit spooky i think. It was an old town hall in Batavia (old Jakarta- the Batavia Park is in front of it). It was a huge office. I loved the Hermes statue outside the museum. One point i got there, because i met hundred high school student in museum, Jakarta's student loved their city so much, that they chose to visit museum rather than have fun in Mall. But, they took thousand photos there too, in thousand angle too. Maybe i can bring also some friends, not just Syl-my photographer hehe.

3. We walked moved to the last museum, which is Museum Bank Mandiri. It was located in front of Station Kota. It was the most amazing one, the cleanest of all. But also made me afraid that maybe Syl will leave me alone there. Oh my, that bank was so huge! With numerous rooms, mannequins, also underground safety box place. Uhhh, i think i won't go there again at least 5 friends are with me.

Watched X-Men Origin : Wolverine
While waiting for Syl to refresh his body with some drinks, we thought about the next destination. So, he had an idea to watch X-Men, i called Ing to ask her to go with us, but she has just watched it, so we went to Citraland for the next X-Men show. And, while waiting for the movie, we ate at Hoka-hoka Bento. Ummm, it was my first time in this year. Was so happy hehe. I always up with Hokben, no matter what, so, Paket C, please =p Then, we watched X-Men and it was awesome! I liked Hugh Jackman (Wolverine) and in one scene i was almost cry, i just felt that his acting was so deep and touchful.

After watched Xmen, Syl went home, and i went to Untar 2, watched their pensi, joined Desipus, Desi, Yoan and Josephine. But, since Josephine and Yoan went home, just three of us there, enjoyed the show, while waiting for the special guest to perform, they are Gruvi and Ello. Then Ko Steve joined us, enjoyed belly dancers, then Gruvi-sorry but i knew nothing about Gruvi but their single tittled Kumasih Mencintaimu, then Ello rock-ed the show! He was cool, he made us sang and even dance, yaaaahuuuuu! The best song i think Pergi Untuk Kembali, thought that he's somewhat similar with someone. Yes, he is. Liked it anyway :)

Actually, it is the longest post in this blog, until now. I posted many pictures here, hope that you can enjoy it, then try to experience it like me and Syl, especially in the museums. It was so not just another Thursday. Yaaahuuuu!
Well, the main schedule of today was renew my passport. I have to be finished before i go back to Manado next month, so if i have to accompany someone abroad (i wish it could be on July), i'll be ready hehe. But, i couldn't help that they refuse to make mine, because my old passport is in Manado. So, i have to bring the old one, show them (they'll keep it like daddy said or just check it), then i can make the new one. Huff, poor me and Syl-who'd accompany me this whole day, thank you so much, Syl, it really means a lot! But, we changed our schedule, i insisted Syl to visit some museum near to the Immigration Office, then here we go! =p

1. First, we went to Museum Seni Rupa dan Keramik. It's next to the Immigration Office. You just have to pay Rp2000 to enter the whole museum. I didn't really like this museum, a lot of paintings made me boring, so, we moved to the second museum.

in front of the museum - ignore the yellow map, please hehe2. Museum Sejarah Jakarta. It's antique one and a bit spooky i think. It was an old town hall in Batavia (old Jakarta- the Batavia Park is in front of it). It was a huge office. I loved the Hermes statue outside the museum. One point i got there, because i met hundred high school student in museum, Jakarta's student loved their city so much, that they chose to visit museum rather than have fun in Mall. But, they took thousand photos there too, in thousand angle too. Maybe i can bring also some friends, not just Syl-my photographer hehe.

Hermes statue outside the museum3. We walked moved to the last museum, which is Museum Bank Mandiri. It was located in front of Station Kota. It was the most amazing one, the cleanest of all. But also made me afraid that maybe Syl will leave me alone there. Oh my, that bank was so huge! With numerous rooms, mannequins, also underground safety box place. Uhhh, i think i won't go there again at least 5 friends are with me.

While waiting for Syl to refresh his body with some drinks, we thought about the next destination. So, he had an idea to watch X-Men, i called Ing to ask her to go with us, but she has just watched it, so we went to Citraland for the next X-Men show. And, while waiting for the movie, we ate at Hoka-hoka Bento. Ummm, it was my first time in this year. Was so happy hehe. I always up with Hokben, no matter what, so, Paket C, please =p Then, we watched X-Men and it was awesome! I liked Hugh Jackman (Wolverine) and in one scene i was almost cry, i just felt that his acting was so deep and touchful.

After watched Xmen, Syl went home, and i went to Untar 2, watched their pensi, joined Desipus, Desi, Yoan and Josephine. But, since Josephine and Yoan went home, just three of us there, enjoyed the show, while waiting for the special guest to perform, they are Gruvi and Ello.
